Art Nouveau Akımı’nın Cam Sanatına Yansımaları

Art Nouveau Akımı, 19. yüzyılda mimari, edebiyat, müzik, resim ve uygulamalı sanatlar üzerinde etkili olmuştur. Dönemin sanatçıları sanat ve zanaat arasındaki ayrımı ortadan kaldırmak, yeni bir ifade dili yaratmak, malzemenin işlevselliğine bireysel bakış açısı katmak ve toplumun her kesimindeki insanın sanat nesnelerine erişebilirliğini sağlamak gibi ortak bir amaca sahip olmuştur denilebilir. Yapılan literatür araştırmaları değerlendirildiğinde, Art Nouveau döneminde yenilikçi, yaratıcı, araştırmacı ve özgün niteliklere sahip bir uygulamacı ve sanatçı profilinin ortaya çıktığı gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca, yine bu dönemde pek çok teknik ve uygulamayla çeşitlenen ve zenginleşen bir biçim dilinin oluştuğu görülmektedir. Cam sanatı bu dönemde ideolojik, biçimsel ve teknik anlamda Art Nouveau Akımı’ndan etkilenerek birçok değişim geçirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Art Nouveau Akımı’ndan etkilenen cam sanatçıları ve eserleri, kurulan özel atölyeler ile fabrikaların üretimleri ve teknik anlamda yaşanan yenilikler araştırılmıştır.

Abstract

ART NOUVEAU AKIMI’NIN CAM SANATINA YANSIMALARIArt Nouveau Movement was effective on architecture literature, music, painting and applied arts in 19th century. It is possible to say that, the artists of the period had a common purpose in order to remove the difference between arts and crafts, to create a new way of expression, to add a personal perspective to the function of the material and to provide Access for people from each part of the society. When the literature research was evaluated, it has been observed that there was an emergence of a profile of an innovative, creative, researcher pragmatist with unique qualifications and artist. Additionally, the creation of a form language that was varied and enriched by the many techniques and practices in this period has been observed. The art of glass changed in a lot this period by getting effected by Art Nouveau in terms of ideology, form and technique. In this study, glass artists affected by Art Nouveau and their works, the productions of private workshops that were established and factories and innovations experienced technically were analyzed.
