Open Access Policy

idil is an open access journal. All articles are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to as soon as they are published, with no registration. The journal follows the definition of open access of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

Licence. From Vol. 15, No. 123 onwards articles are published under CC BY 4.0, earlier articles under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0; authors retain the copyright (Copyright and Licence).

Fees. Readers and institutions are not charged for access. Authors are charged an article processing fee at submission (Article Processing Fee).

Self-archiving. Authors may share the submitted, accepted and published versions of their article in institutional repositories, on personal websites and on academic networks, with a link to the article in idil and its DOI.

Archiving and metadata. All published issues are backed up regularly on the journal’s server. The metadata of the articles are open to indexing services and libraries through OAI-PMH, and articles are assigned DOIs.
