Mekânı Temel Alan Mimari ile Kütleyi Esas Alan Heykel Sanatının Etkileşimi
Mimarlık en genel anlamıyla mekânın sınırlandırılarak, işlevsel hale getirilmesi olarak anlam bulur. Bununla birlikte, heykel sanatı Antikite’den bu yana tikel varlığını sürdürürken, aynı zamanda pek çok dönem içerisinde mimariye eklemlenmiştir. Alanı belirsizleşen durumları ile mimari ile heykel sınırlarının eridiği görülmektedir. Modernite, gerek mimari gerekse heykel disiplinlerinin sarsıcı değişimlerinin yaşandığı, tanımlarının çoğaldığı ve birbirlerinin sorunsal alanlarına girdiği bir dizi sarsıcı yeniliği beraberinde getirmiştir. Çalışma temel anlayışları yüzyıllardır etkileşim içerisinde bulunan heykel ve himarlığın esasına ilişkin sorunsallaa değinmektedir. Bununla birlikte, bu çalışma her iki disiplinin kendi sorunlarını bir diğer disiplinin alanına girerek çözümlediği yeni paradigmaları incelemektedir.

Abstract
Architecture, in very broad understanding, means that narrowing down the particular space. In addition to this, while sculpture since antiquity maintain its particular existence it is also articulated with architecture many times in different layers of the time. Due to the fact that, limits between architecture and sculpture melt down. Modernity brought staggering changes on both discipline. It is also caused increasing number of definitions for sculpture and architecture. Finally, modernity brought also novelties when these two disciplines enter their spaces. This particular research investigates that these two disciplines` basic problems on the one hand. On the other hand, investigates these two disciplines when they enter their spaces for seeking their own problems in each other`s zones.
