The Perception of the Candidates for Music Teacher on Musical Aesthetics

Müzik Öğretmeni Adaylarının Müzik Estetiğine İlişkin Algıları
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, müzik öğretmeni adaylarının “müzik estetiğine” ilişkin algılarını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu genel amaç çerçevesinde, Müzik öğretmeni adaylarının müzik estetiğine ilişkin algıları nasıldır? sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; 2012-2013 Bahar yarıyılında Atatürk Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 1, 2, 3 ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 83 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmen adaylarının 49’u kadın 34’ü ise erkektir. Çalışma nitel bir araştırma olup betimsel türde tarama modelindedir. Araştırmada veriler, müzik öğretmeni adaylarının müzik estetiğine ilişkin düşüncelerini içeren kompozisyonların, içerik analizi tekniği ile incelenmesi sonucunda elde edilmiştir.

Abstract
The basic aim of this study is to reveal the perception of the candidates for music teacher on musical aesthetics. In the light of this aim, the research question the study aims to answer: how is the perception of the candidates for music teacher on musical aesthetics? The participants in this research consist of overall eighty three freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students studying in the Department of Music Teaching, Ataturk Faculty of Fine Arts during spring term. The participants as the candidates for teacher involve forty nine women and thirty four men. The study is descriptive survey model of qualitative research.
