An Analysis Observation of the Melodic Hearing and Rhythmic Hearing Success Levels of Students Who Passed the Entrance Exams of Music Education Department

Müzik eğitimi anabilim dalı özel yetenek sınavını kazanan öğrencilerin ezgi işitme ve ritim işitme boyutu başarı düzeylerinin incelenmesi
Araştırmada, Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 2007–2008 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı Özel Yetenek Sınavını kazanan öğrencilerin ezgi işitme ve ritim işitme boyutu başarı düzeyleri incelenmiştir.
Araştırmanın evrenini, Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılı özel yetenek sınavının ilk aşamasını geçen 259 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Gazi Üniversitesi Müzik Öğretmenliği Anabilim dalı özel yetenek sınavını kazanan 47 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında, özel yetenek sınavını kazanan öğrencilerin başarı puanları frekans ve yüzde kullanılarak tablolaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, özel yetenek sınavını kazanan öğrencilerin ezgi işitme ve ritim işitme boyutu başarı düzeyleri incelenmiş, elde edilen bulgular yorumlanarak belirli sonuçlara varılmıştır.

Abstract
In this research, students who had been successful in the entrance exams of Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty of Music Education Department 2007 -2008 are examined in terms of melodic and rhythmic hearing success levels.
This research includes 259 students who passed the first part of the entrance exams of Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty of Music Education Department 2007-2008. The sample was drawn from the students who were passed the entrance examination and accepted to GUGEFME Department. In the scope of this research, the succesfull students scores had been charted using frequencies and percentages. By preparing forms, the opinions of the experts were taken in order to be analyzed.
In the result of the study, the students who passed the exams had been examined in terms of melodic and rhythm hearing success levels. Then these indications had been interpreted in order to get to some specific conclusions.
