Özdemir Yemenicioğlu Eserlerinde Anadolu Uygarlıkları Etkisi ve Kybele’nin Çağdaş Yorumu
Bu araştırma, Özdemir Yemenicioğlu'nun eserlerindeki Anadolu uygarlıkları etkisini ve sanatçının eserlerinde Kybele'nin çağdaş anlayışla nasıl yorumlandığını ortaya koyma amacını taşımaktadır. Sanatçının eserlerinde Kybele'ye eşlik eden; nar, arı, boğa ve ağaç sembollerinin betimlenmesi ve anlamsal açıdan incelenerek yorumlanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan eser analizi ve literatür tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular bağlamında Özdemir Yemenicioğlu’nun eserlerindeki esas figürün Ana Tanrıça Kybele olduğu ve eserlerde yer alan nar, boğa, arı ve ağaç figürleriyle, Kybele’nin içinde barındırdığı; doğurganlık, üreme, yaşam gibi anlamların kuvvetlendirildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bereketin ve refahın simgesi olan nar figürü Kybele’nin bereketini pekiştirmekte ve çoğalma özelliğini öne çıkarmaktadır. Üremeyi tamamlayan bir diğer unsur olan gücün simgesi boğa figürü ise ana tanrıçanın hayat veren gücünü yansıtmaktadır. Kybele’ye eşlik eden arı figürü ana tanrıçanın çalışkanlık olgusunu desteklemektedir. Ağaç figürü ise hayat ağacına gönderme yaparak sanatçının eserlerindeki Kybele’nin yaşam olgusunu güçlendirmektedir. Eserlerinde teknik açıdan sürekli bir araştırma içerisinde bulunan sanatçı; kâğıt, kumaş, çuval, tül, giysi gibi farklı malzemelerle oluşturduğu yüzeyde rölyef etkileri yaratmıştır. Ayrıca eserlerinde biçimsel anlamda da kaygıları olduğu görülen sanatçının çalışmalarında, Göbekli Tepe’nin T biçimli dikilitaşlarını kullanarak anıtsal biçimler yarattığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak Yemenicioğlu’nun Anadolu uygarlıklarından beslenen gelenekçi yönüne, çağdaş sanatın getirdiği yenilikçi teknikleri ve biçimleri eklediği görülmektedir.

Abstract
This research aims to reveal the influence of Anatolian civilizations in Özdemir Yemenicioğlu's works and how Kybele is interpreted with a contemporary understanding in the artist's works. Accompanying Kybele in the works of the artist; It is aimed to describe and interpret the symbols of pomegranate, bee, bull and tree in terms of meaning. In the research, work analysis and literature review method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In the context of the findings obtained in the research, it is stated that the main figure in Özdemir Yemenicioğlu's works is the Mother Goddess Kybele and that Kybele contains with the pomegranate, bull, bee and tree figures in the works; It was concluded that the meanings such as fertility, reproduction and life were strengthened. The pomegranate figure, which is the symbol of abundance and prosperity, reinforces Kybele's fertility and highlights its reproduction feature. The bull figure, which is the symbol of power, which is another element that completes reproduction, reflects the life-giving power of the mother goddess. The bee figure accompanying Kybele supports the hard work of the mother goddess. The tree figure, on the other hand, strengthens the life phenomenon of Kybele in the artist's works by referring to the tree of life. The artist, who is in a constant technical research in his works; It created relief effects on the surface it created with different materials such as paper, fabric, sacks, tulle, and clothes. In addition, it has been revealed that the artist, who is seen to have formal concerns in his works, creates monumental forms by using the T-shaped obelisks of Göbekli Tepe. As a result, it is seen that Yemenicioğlu adds innovative techniques and forms brought by contemporary art to his traditionalist aspect, which is fed by Anatolian civilizations..
