Abstract
Repetition of Pattern Report on Turkish Fabrics
Turkish fabrics have become a distinguished group with both pattern variety and high qualities. The pattern systems based on the eternity principle of these fabrics are created with superior geometry calculations. Pattern reports created with great mastery complement each other so that continuity is not compromised when top-down or bottom-bottom is brought. In this way, the patterns can be extended forever without interruption. The purpose of this study is; it is to guide the other works by taking the pattern repetition systems seen in Turkish fabrics. The study was limited to patterned multi-layered fabrics in the Ottoman period. Sources and 261 fabric samples were scanned and re-systems were created. Pattern report drawings of fabric samples were created and unit reports were drawn. In addition, it was prepared table of contents including year, place, genus, raw material, size and sources the inventory numbers of the 261 fabrics examined. In this direction, it was interpreted the century and the types of fabrics used of the repetition systems.
