Şiddet Temalı Kadın İmgesinin Çağdaş Sanata Yansımaları

İnsanın doğadaki en tehlikeli canlı türü olması, şiddeti doğuran ana etken olan planladığı ve bilinçli olarak yönlendirdiği öfke duygusunu çeşitli eylemlerle somutlaştırması ve bunun sonucu olarak da şiddeti icat etmesi ile açıklanabilir.

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı şiddetin çeşitli türlerine doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak maruz kalmış ya da maruz kalan kadınları gözlemlemiş kadın sanatçıların şiddet ve simgesel şiddet gibi çıkış noktaları ile yaşam süreçleri boyunca oluşturdukları kadın imgesinin birleşiminin yansıdığı çağdaş sanat çalışmalarını incelemektir. Bu bağlamda Orlan, Cindy Sherman, Marina Abromoviç, Georgia O’Keeffe, Carolee Schneemann, Tracy Emin, Ana Mendieta gibi çağdaş sanat alanında çeşitli ifade olanaklarını araştırmış kadın sanatçıların şiddet temalı çalışmaları incelenmiştir.

Beuys kullanılmayan yaratıcılığın saldırganlığa dönüştüğü kanısındadır. Ancak söz konusu araştırmada saldırıya, simgesel şiddete maruz kalmış kadın sanatçıların bu psikoloji ile ortaya koydukları sanat eserleri incelenmektedir. Bu noktada şiddet ve saldırganlığın anlam bulmadığı daha olumlu yaşam alanlarının mevcut olduğu bir dünyaya ulaşma gayesiyle sanatsal ifade olanaklarının genişletilmesi, bu sayede de bireylerin yaratıcı potansiyellerinin ortaya çıkarılması önerilmektedir.
