Istanbul’un Sayfiye Kültürüne Yolculuk

Bu çalışma, İstanbul'un sayfiye kültürünün tarihsel ve sosyo-kültürel boyutlarını detaylı bir şekilde ele almakta ve bu olgunun İstanbulluların sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik yaşamlarına olan etkilerini incelemektedir. Sayfiye, sadece mekânsal bir kavram olmanın ötesinde, belirli bir yaşam biçimi, sosyal statü göstergesi ve kültürel bir olgu olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminden Cumhuriyet dönemine kadar olan süreçte, bu kültürün nasıl evrildiğini ve toplumsal sınıflar, ekonomik imkânlar ve kültürel pratiklerle olan etkileşimini detaylı bir şekilde irdelenmektedir. Sayfiye olgusunun bireylerin sosyal hayatları ve kültürel kimlikleri üzerindeki etkileri vurgulanmakta, bu kültürün İstanbul'un genelinde yaygın bir yaşam biçimi olduğu ve toplumsal yaşamın vazgeçilmez bir parçası haline geldiği ortaya konmaktadır. Araştırmada, sayfiye kültürünün sosyal ve kültürel yönleri üzerinde durulmakta ve turizm-sayfiye ilişkisi ile İstanbul'daki sayfiye olgusuna ilişkin terminoloji ele alınmaktadır. Bu kapsamlı inceleme, sayfiye kültürünün İstanbul'da nasıl bir sosyal statü göstergesi haline geldiğini, çeşitli toplumsal grupların bu mekânlara erişimdeki farklılıklarını ve ekonomik ile kültürel yaşam üzerindeki etkilerini gözler önüne sermektedir. Sayfiye yaşamının, bireyler için bir kaçış noktası, dinlenme ve yenilenme alanı olarak işlev gördüğü, bu kültürün şehrin sosyal ve kültürel dokusuna nasıl derinlemesine işlediği anlatılmaktadır.
