Üniversite – Sanayi İşbirliği Kapsamında Sofra ve Mutfak Gereçleri Dekor Tasarımlarının Geliştirilmesi

Hızla gelişip, büyüyen seramik sektörünün artan pazar ile rekabet edebilmesi ve mevcut pazar payını koruyabilmesi için eğitimli tasarımcılara olan gereksinim her geçen yıl daha da artmaktadır. Bu durum sektöre nitelikli eleman yetiştiren üniversitelere büyük sorumluluklar yüklemektedir. Sanayinin eğitimli ve nitelikli eleman ihtiyacının, üniversitelerin ise sektöre yönelik üretim beklentilerinin karşılanabileceği ortak platform üniversite-sanayi işbirliği ile mümkün olmaktadır. Kütahya ili, sektöre yön veren büyük firmaların faaliyet gösterdiği seramik merkezi olması sebebiyle önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Bu durum Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Seramik ve Cam Bölümü öğrencileri için önemli bir avantaj yaratmaktadır. Seramik alanında eğitim gören öğrencilerin sektör ile tanışmasını sağlamak, aldıkları eğitimleri fabrika işleyişi ile ilişkilendirmek ve sektöre yeni, özgün tasarımlar kazandırmak amacıyla Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversitesi, Keramika Seramik Fabrikası ile “Üniversite Sanayi İşbirliği Kapsamında Sofra ve Mutfak Gereçleri İki Boyutlu Dekor Tasarımlarının Geliştirilmesi” isimli 2017-56 nolu Bilimsel Araştırma Projesi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Proje kapsamında, seramik eğitimi alan öğrenciler tarafından Keramika Seramik Fabrikasının sofra ve mutfak gereçlerine yenilikçi, alternatif dekor tasarımları geliştirilmiş ve geliştirilen tasarımların uygulanabilirlikleri incelenerek dijital baskı yöntemi ile üretilmiş ve uygun görülen ürünler satışa sunulmuştur.

The need for educated designers to grow rapidly and to be able to compete with the growing market and protect the market share of the growing ceramic sector is increasing every year. This situation places great responsibility on the universities that produce sectoral staff. The universal-industry cooperation is possible with the common platform that the needs of the educated and qualified personnel of the industry and the expectations of the universities towards the sector can be met. The province of Kütahya has an important position because it is the center of ceramics in which the big companies that direct the sector operate. This is an important advantage for the students of Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics and Glass Department. Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Keramika Ceramic Factory with the purpose of acquiring the students who are trained in the field of ceramics to connect with the sector, to associate their trainings with the factory operation and to gain new and original designs in the sector. Scientific Research named "Development of Two Dimensional Decor Designs in the Scope of University Industry Cooperation" 2017-56 numbered Project was carried out. Within the scope of the project, innovative and alternative decor designs for tableware and kitchen ware of Keramika Ceramic Factory were developed by the students who took ceramics education and the feasibility of the developed designs were investigated and the products which were produced by digital printing method and suitable products were offered for sale.
