Bulunduğu çağ ile etkileşim içinde olmasından ötürü sürekli bir değişim halinde olan sanat, toplumsal oluşumların bir yansıması olarak üretimini sürdürmektedir. Günümüzün önemli sorunlarından biri olan mülteci krizi, sosyal, kültürel, siyasi, politik, ekonomik gibi birçok alanda tüm toplumları etkileyen küresel bir sorun halini almıştır. Dolayısıyla mülteci krizinin güncel sanat üretimi üzerindeki etkisi kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Günlük yaşantımızın her alanıyla iç içe olan güncel sanat, çağın sorunlarını muhalif bir çizgide ele alarak eleştirel üretimlere imkân yaratmaktadır. Bu bağlamda geçmiş ve günümüz üzerinden göç ve mülteci konusunu çalışmalarına konu edinen farklı coğrafyalardan sanatçıların çalışmaları üzerinden mülteci krizinin sanat üzerindeki etkileri irdelenmiştir.

Therefore, the impact of the refugee crisis on current art creation has been inevitable. The current art, which is intertwined with every field of our daily life, creates opportunities for critical productions by addressing the problems of the age in a critical line. In this context, the effects of the refugee crisis on art have been examined through the works of artists from different geographies who have studied migration and refugee issues in the past and present.
