COVID-19 Sürecinde Moda Tasarımında Sürdürülebilirlik Yaklaşımları
Öz
Covid-19’dan kaynaklı pandemi sürecinde zorunlu olarak evde geçirilen zamanın artması insanlığın çevreye verdiği zarar, atık, geri dönüşüm ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramlarının sorgulanmasına neden olmuş, moda sektörü de tüketimi teşvik eden, değişimi ve geçici yeniliği yansıtan yapısıyla etkilenmiştir. Bu süreçte tüketicilerin giysi alım sıklığı azalmış, ikinci el ürün satan platformlar daha fazla rağbet görmüş, defile ve fuarlar dijital ortamlarda gerçekleşmiştir. Sektörde pandemi öncesi atılmaya başlayan organik, geri dönüştürülebilir materyal kullanımı, geri dönüşüm, geri kazanım ve daha az su tüketimi için bilinçli tüketiciyi hedefleyen adımlar, sanayi 4.0 olarak tanımlanan dijital teknolojilerin devreye alınması ile hız kazanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında Covid-19 sürecinin moda sektörüne ve tasarımına etkileri sürdürülebilirlik bağlamında ele alınırken, görünürlüğü artan sürdürülebilirlik hamlelerinin pozitif ve negatif etkilerinin neler olduğu tartışılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmanın, bu alanda dünyadaki diğer güncel çalışmalarla birlikte akademik moda yazınının gelişmesine ve sürdürülebilir modaya dikkat çekilerek sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya katkı sağlaması amaçlanmıştır.
