Öz

Kültür, her topluma kendisini özgün bir şekilde ifade etme imkanı sunmaktadır. Farklılıkların bir araya gelmesi sonucunda kültürel çeşitlilik oluşmaktadır. Sanat, gelenek, görenek, adet, inanç, dil, edebiyat, mimari mekanlar, tarih, coğrafya, yemek vb. kültürel unsurlar, her toplumun yapısına göre şekillenmekte ve çeşitlenmektedir. Bu çeşitlilik farklı yörelerde görülmektedir. Bu yörelerden biri Karadeniz Bölgesinde yer alan Rize ilidir. Rize’de yer alan Hemşin, Çamlıhemşin, Ayder’de geleneksel ve yöreselliği yansıtan tekstil ürünlerine rastlamak mümkündür. Bu ürünler arasında sayılan el örgüsü çoraplar desen, motif ve renk özellikleri ile dikkat çekmektedir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Rize ili el örgüsü çorapların ürün tasarım özellikleri oluştururken, araştırma örneklemi ise Hemşin ve Çamlıhemşin’de yöresinde tespit edilen çalıklı teknikli 47 adet el örgüsü çorap oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Hemşin, Çamlıhemşin çoraplarının desenleme tekniği, motif ve renk özelliklerini tasarım özellikleri açısından incelemektir. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen çorap örneklerinin bitkisel, geometrik, figürlü, sembolik olmak üzere 4 farklı motif özelliğine sahip olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Genellikle zemin rengi olarak beyaz renk, motiflerde ise canlı ve sıcak renkler tercih edilmektedir.

Abstract

Design Features of Black Sea Çalıklı Technique Socks

Culture offers the opportunity to express each society in a unique way. As a result of the combination of differences, cultural diversity occurs. Art, tradition, custom, belief, language, literature, architectural spaces, history, geography, food, etc. cultural elements are shaped and diversified according to the perception of each society. This variety is seen in different regions. One of these regions is Rize province, located in the Black Sea Region. It is possible to come across textile products reflecting traditional and localism in Hemşin, Çamlıhemşin and Ayder in Rize. Hand knitted socks, which are among these products, attract attention with their pattern, motif and color features. Scanning method was used as a method in the study. The universe of the research is the product design features of hand knit socks in Rize, while the sample of the research is 47 çalıklı technique hand knit socks which are found in Hemşin and Çamlıhemşin. The aim of this study is to examine the patterning technique, motif and color properties of Hemşin, Çamlıhemşin socks in terms of design features. It is understood that the socks samples examined within the scope of the study have 4 different motif features as vegetative, geometric, figured and symbolic. Generally, white color is preferred as the ground color and vivid and warm colors are preferred for the motifs.
