1603748209 EXPERIMENTAL WOVEN DESIGN SUGGESTIONS INVIEW OF THE TEXTILE- INTERIOR RELATION

Textiles, which are a part of our lives, are among the basic elements for interior spaces with their visua- textural richness. Expecially in order to meet the needs of tecnology and modern architecture, the importance of interdisiplinary work with the effects of Bauhause, which is in new expansions, has led to the evaluation of the textiles produced for the spaces not only with their suitability for use but also with their relationship with other objects in space. While textiles change texturally and functionally in terms of materials with the developing technology, they are handled with an innovative approach in terms of pattern and color with the effect of modernism. With the understanding of the importance of visual impact, the designer acquires original designs; while demostrating his creativity, he also depends pn his prediction to be able to bring together independent parts in a comman denominator in his designs, to produce technical solutions and to adapt. In this article, where the unity of “Textile-Space and Design” is discussed, the importance of textile in interior space is examined. In the development of experimental weaving designs; with the understanding of design within the framework of textiles with the possibilities of tecnology and the methods developed by Jack Lenor Larsen has been guided.
