1597173871 AN ANALYTICAL PERSPECTIVE TO THE KANDINSKY’S PORCELAINS WITH PAINTINGS

When the analytical resolving of the artworks which are shaped according to aesthetical worries is needed, it has to be evaluated by some theories. Those theories shaped with the light of the art philosophy can be listed as; theory that takes the outer world as criteria(puts the outer world in center); reflection theory, theory that takes receiver as criteria; emotional effect theory, theory that takes artwork as criteria; formalist/consructive theory. Kandinsky is an important name who constructed the abstract art and he is a name who obtained to reach the deepest part, the essence of the object away from It’s figure and inducted it to It’s fundamental geometrical forms and color stains and peaked his art in this direction. The term abstract, which qualifies the artistic perspective of of Kandinsky’s matureness period’s artworks, gives the priority to the evaluating by formalist theory at the point of resolving the artworks in terms of art theories. Evaluations that takes the artist and receiver to the center can be considered as resolving by methods like centering the artist itself method or audience centered method beside the formalist presence of the artwork. When those artworks evaluated as itself beside the artist, receiver and the outer world, which are shaped by Kandinsky’s earnings from the outer world and his intelligence and internal reaction, those artworks earn to be the object itself at the point of being just art itself. Kandinsky who has a decisive place in 20th century art, has important contributions to the art world as theorist, artist and teacher. The artworks and designs that he made with the aim of designing the faces of porcelain products also took places in the works of Kandinsky. Those designs also contains the designs that are made for the porcelain products which are produced at the St. Petersburg State Porcelain Factory, where the artist worked for a while. In this study, it is aimed to examine the compositions/designs on porcelain products in terms of formalist art theory.
