The article deals with prose of Venedikt Erofeev, which relates to literature of postmodernism. The traditional image of the author at Erofeev undergoes dissocia-tion, which is the key principle of writing. There is a certain substitution of the actual nominal figure of the scripter and the figure of a third-party, observant-evaluative, embodied in a multitude of foreign voices.
