Muqarnas applications, which have developed depending on architecture and are used as carrier and geometric ornamentation elements in architectural structures, are frequently observed especially in Islamic architectural art. Muqarnas, which is encountered in stone, marble, plaster and ceramic applications in different geographies according to geographical conditions and material supply, has examples that are either created by processing with the architectural structure or applied eclectically to architecture as a construction technique. Muqarnas applications are mostly used in religious and monumental structures. In the first part of this study, the place and importance of the decoration used in Islamic geometric art and its examples on architectural works were investigated and the muqarnas form applications produced depending on architecture were examined.
