This study was conducted to determine the “Effect of Active Learning Methods on Students’ Success in Three Dimensional Art Workshop Courses in Fine Arts High Schools”. Experimental design method was used in this study and it was carried out with 18 students receiving education in 1 branch within the scope of 11th grade Three-Dimensional Art Workshop course in Neşet Ertaş Fine Arts High School Painting Department. In the conceptual dimension of the study, content was created with literature review method, experimental and control groups were formed, one group was provided with educational practices based on Active Learning Methods while the other group received educational practices based on the traditional education method. In the study, concept map was limited with the application of game-based learning, brainwriting and bearing techniques in 6 weeks. Achievement test was applied to measure differences in knowledge levels before and after the application. In order to evaluate the results that emerged after the application, the three-dimensional design criteria scale was used for scoring by 3 experts and the mean values of scores were obtained. The data obtained were analyzed by SPSS 21 packaged software. As a result of the study, it was seen that education based on active learning approach was more effective than traditional teaching method in increasing students’ success.
