Media is defined as a set of visual and audio tools that have basic responsibilities such as informing, educating and entertaining by transferring various information to individuals or communities. In the modern world, the media undertakes the function of conveying information, news and comments to the society in various forms, by incorporating different elements such as print media, visual media and audio media. The role of media in shaping social and cultural images is considered an important factor affecting the way individuals perceive the world. Hall's theory of representation offers an important tool in understanding the impact of media on individuals, while considering representation as a process in which cultural and ideological meanings are produced. However, this process takes place within the limits set by the media; While individuals may think that they make their own choices freely, they are actually in a field of meaning created by the media. This study aims to examine how media representations of conservative and secular segments are shaped through the Turkish television series "Kızılcık Şerbeti" and "Kızıl Goncalar" within the framework of Stuart Hall's theory of representation. In line with Hall's Constructivist Approach, it was analyzed how conservative and secular lifestyles were reflected through the characters and events in the series. The aim of the study is to determine whether both segments are represented more positively or more negatively by the media and to reveal how the media structures ideological themes.
