Today, many performers establish their own chamber music groups and aim to give many concerts in this field both domestically and internationally. These chamber music groups sometimes provide the “bass” sound with the double bass as the only instrument, and this is why; Adaptations have an important place in chamber music works. In this study; By adapting the cello part of G. Puccini's "Crisantemi" quartet to the double bass part, it aims to examine the technical difficulties and hints that will help to increase the musical quality. The aim of this article is to raise awareness in three aspects. Although it touches on the chamber music literature, it aims to raise awareness of the chamber music culture with a historical back ground and to contribute to the dissemination of chamber music by increasing the involvement of double bassists in original chamber music and adaptations from the cello, with an approach to the chamber music repertoir
