In this research, it is aimed to make a situation determination by examining the types, characteristics and training of male voice in line with the opinions of voice training experts. It is thought that the research will contribute to the people and literature related to the field of voice. In order to reach the data in this qualitative study, a semi-structured interview form containing questions within the scope of the research topic was prepared and 5 expert opinions were taken for content validity. The semi-structured interview form was applied to 10 educators/artists who are experts in their fields and who have worked and are working in institutions such as Faculty of Education Fine Arts Education Department, Music Education Department, State Conservatory Performing Arts Department Opera/Singing Department, State Opera and Ballet, and the relevant literature was accessed by scanning domestic and foreign articles, theses, journals, internet and libraries. In order to analyse the data obtained from the experts who voluntarily participated in the research, their personal approvals were obtained and recorded. The data obtained were analysed by content analysis and themes and codes were extracted. These codes and themes were sent to 2 experts, inter-expert agreement analysis was performed and reliability was ensured by obtaining 80.6% result. In line with the findings obtained; the distinction of male voice types/subtypes and the factors that determine voice types; timbre, structure, volume, width, availability, limits, brightness of the voice, as well as geography - climate (basses in cold countries and tenors in hot countries), the most common male voice types in the world and in Turkey are baritone and tenor, the least common voice types are bass voice types, the characteristics that should be present in a good male voice are voice structure, quality and musicality, followed by training (technique) and acting ability (acting), the most common difficulties encountered in the training of male voices are transitional tone problems (overtones), inflexibility and stiffness by showing a tendency to squeeze themselves, students have difficulty in perceiving the abstract concepts described and mentioned, etc. etc.
