1707815880 ORIGINAL TILE ART DESIGNS WITH PLANT MOTIVES

Rich examples of the art of tile, which evolved concurrently with architecture, have survived from the past to the present to adorn wall surfaces and other commonplace objects in Anatolian buildings. This study showcases unique plant and flower motif designs influenced by various motifs and techniques found in tile works. The unique floral and plant patterns on tile plates' surfaces are distinct from traditional tile art currently on display. Several design studies were conducted in this research by stylizing the flower and plant motifs that exist in nature. Plate forms were covered with compositions of patterns chosen from the designs. Thus, unique designs were obtained, and ten distinct tile works were made using these designs. Plants and flowers were preferred as motifs to accomplish integrity and harmony; green, as well as shades of green and turquoise, were used for colouring. The ten ceramic plates feature five distinct motif designs in plant and flower designs. The study underwent a thorough review, considering the design, application, and exhibition phases. It is possible to obtain various tile art designs and original works thanks to this research, which also includes new and original works.
