In this study, which was conducted to understand the Op.15 “La Flute de Pan” sonata by the French composer Jules Mouquet, which is frequently performed in the flute repertoire today, the period in which the composer lived and the artistic environment in which he lived were determined, and the reflections of this on the composer's music were emphasized. Firstly, information about the composer's musical point of view, the musical characteristics of the period in which the work was written, the technical development of the instrument, the form and harmonic structure of the work was given, and then the problems that may be encountered during the performance were determined and suggestions were made for their solutions. In this sense, it is aimed to create a Turkish source to be consulted. The data obtained by descriptive scanning method were processed and brought together, and the study was completed with the method of performance analysis.
