The purpose of this study is to determine job satisfaction and job burnout levels of instrument educators in the fine art high schools. The general survey model was used in this study, which is descriptive research. The population of the study consists of instrument educators in the fine art high schools (760), the sample consists of instrument educators who respond to the scales (478). Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) developed by Maslach and Jackson (1981) was used to determine burnout levels of instrument educators and Job Satisfaction Inventory developed by Kuzgun, Sevim and Hamamcı (1999) was used to determine the levels of professional job satisfaction. In this study, independent samples t-test , one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), mann-whitney test, kruskal-wallis test, correlation and regression analyzes were performed. The instrument educators’ age, gender, marital status, educational status, professional seniority and individual instrument types have been examined in terms of the sub-dimensions of the burnout scale. The relationship between job satisfaction and job burnout has been determined and regression finding on job satisfaction and job burnout have been found. Gender and marital status is not a variable which affects the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization scores of instrument educators. On the other hand, gender, marital status and age variables have a significant effect on personal success sensation scores. Education status variable has no significant effect on emotional exhaustion and sense of personal success. Professional seniority and the type of individual instrument have a significant effect on the sense of personal success. If the professional satisfaction levels of the instrument educators increase, the levels of emotional exhaustion decrease and the sense of personal success increase. It has been found that job burnout of instrument educators significantly predict their job satisfaction.
