In this study, the usage of Turkish music instruments in the field of polyphonic chamber music is discussed and the approaches of different composers to the subject are mentioned. The project of “Çanakkale Victory, Heroic Stories 10 Stories 10 Compositions”, which is one of the last examples realized in our country, has been mentioned in general terms. Among the works included in the project, Eray ALTINBÜKEN's "Ateşe Karşı" [Against Fire] was examined and its contribution to the understanding of the performance of Turkish music instruments and polyphonic chamber music was discussed. The aim of this study is to set an example for composers and performers for the production of works in which Turkish music instruments can be performed outside of their current repertoire.
