Universities are institutions where scientific researches are conducted and information is produced. From this point of view, graduate studies in universities are of great importance. Theses have an important place in the scientific reporting tradition. Examining various aspects of research related to postgraduate studies to date will support new studies to follow and present new perspectives to researchers. The purpose of this research, carried out in Turkey in the string of postgraduate thesis constitutes evaluated according to various criteria. As a result of the research conducted in the database where the postgraduate theses were installed, a total of 761 postgraduate theses were reached, including 569 master's, 97 doctorate and 95 proficiency in arts. The titles, years, types, institutes, titles of advisors, universities, subject areas and methods of these graduate theses have been examined together with statistical analyzes and the current situation has been revealed. As a result of the research, when the distribution of instrument types of the thesis topics of the postgraduate theses made in the field of string instruments is examined, it is seen that the thesis with the title of “violin” is the most with 51.6%, and the post-graduate theses made in the field of string instruments are mostly ““work-study review/analysis” has been observed.
