In this study, it is aimed to investigate the contribution of Poiret to the period fashion by investigating the silhouette and model features of the dresses in the album due to the fact that the album is found to be important for the history of fashion illustration. Content analysis method from qualitative research patterns was used in the study. All of the dresses, coats and headdresses in the album consisting of ten fashion plates formed the universe of this research. In line with the limitations of the research, all seventeen dress illustrations in the album formed the sample of the study. The dresses were categorized and tabulated through the garment review form created. The features of the dresses were interpreted in accordance with the findings obtained. It has been observed that the dresses in the album, which is described as the 'Directoirne' collection, have a high waistline and the female body, freed from the corset, has straight downward lines in an innovative form.
