In this study, it was aimed to investigate the contents of the classical guitar festivals, competitions and meetings that held in Turkey between the years 2007-2017. For this purpose, the classical guitar festivals, competitions, concerts, master classes, workshops, seminars, panels and interviews in the context of their compositions and years have been examined.
This study is a descriptive research. A general screening model was used in the study. The collected data were obtained by scanning the source. The sample of the study classical guitar festivals that take place in Turkey between the years 2007-2017, has created competitions and meetings.
As a result of the study, between the years 2007-2017, 77 classical guitar festival can be reached in Turkey, that competition and meeting place, the content of the activities and places the artist of these activities and the educators have achieved numerical data, these data are presented in tables. Classical guitar festivals that can be reached, competitions and concerts, master classes, workshops, seminars, panel discussions and discussions contributed to guitar education.
