Clothing belonging to historical periods has been a reflection of the political, economic and political events of the period and an indicator of the artistic cultural ideological approach. When the possibilities of the technological developments of that period are added to these components in the clothes of the period, it is possible to make many readings about life through the clothes of the period. From this point of view, women's clothing of the Empire period, which coincides with the end of the Neoclassical period in art history, reveals many artistic and cultural details with both silhouette and other details, and also inspires new designs. In this study; the silhouettes, fabric-pattern features of the Empire clothes were examined through the technical developments and cultural structure of the period, and their reflections on today's fashion were tried to be conveyed by supporting them with visuals. The aim of this paper is to create a resource for those who will work in the field of textile and fashion design.
