ABSTRACT
In today's sustainable and fast fashion understanding, new approaches are gaining importance in terms of the manufacturer and the user in the practice of dressing. The aim of this design research is to create an innovative fashion sense with clothing accessory pieces that can be used as modular. Here, the user can be involved in creating different styles by including his own choices in creating a style. Accessory parts in this project work, where the technical creation experiences discovered together with the creative and technical development processes are finally concluded, can be mounted on the basic dress in different ways. For this collection study, which is analyzed based on experience and practice, 10 modular accessories that can be mounted or worn on a basic dress form were designed. The variety of accessories has been discussed in terms of the person's body structure and form, their daily fashion understanding and their suitability for their personality and social life. This work, which allows for garment combinations based on sustainability and style in its design approach, also provides opportunities for creative explorations between the designer and the user.
