In this study, we have analysed the effects of painting on music and covered different samples of this interaction in various periods. In this context, we have studied one of the most recent examples of this interaction in Turkey, namely, “Buluşma Üzerine Deneyimler”, and addressed the included works in general. Since it is not aimed to cover all works included in the project, only the work of Gizem Alever was analysed and the work’s relation with Devrim Erbil’s paintings was explained. We have concluded that these works, as the most striking examples of the interaction between painting and music in Turkey, also contribute to the repertoire of piano and chamber music. Analyses performed in regard to the works are also aimed to assist the performers who wish to play these works.
