1628114515 EXAMINATION OF INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS' OPINIONS ON THE ART EDUCATION COURSE CURRICULUM

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of art education and its relationship with different disciplines of art on interior architecture students. The sample group in this question is students. A questionnaire was applied through Google Forms to the graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture, who received education in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Eskişehir Technical University (Anadolu University) for the first two years, and the graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture, who studied at the Faculty of Architecture of Akdeniz University. The roles that were effective in the selection of these two universities are the differences in art education in the course content and the diversity of the departments in the faculties they received education. The student opinions, obtained in order to emphasize the place of art education in interior architecture education, revealed the contributions of art education to the design understanding of interior architecture students. According to the findings, interior architecture education is combined with different art disciplines; It has been observed in the survey results that students contribute to the way they express themselves, to gain different perspectives, to discover and overcome their own limits, to increase their perceptions and to choose a profession. It is emphasized that the art education given in interior architecture departments should integrate with different disciplines and raise awareness to students with different perspectives.
