1624052234 THE HIDDEN VOICES OF TWO SEPARATE DEFICIENCIES 'A' AND 'E' IN THE CONTEXT OF LIPOGRAM

Lipogram is one of the widely known methods of experimental literature. This technique has regained its fame among modern literary works with the novel La Disparation. The Oulipo group, which brought a theoretical framework to experimental literature, and the novel La Disparition, written by the French literary writer Georges Perec, one of the founders of this group, with the lipogram method, with no "e" sound in it, made the method attract attention again in modern literature. This work has also succeeded in influencing writers and readers in international literary culture. In Turkish literature, new works are added every day to the number of works written using the lipogram technique in recent literary works. In this study; the novel Poor Text written by İsmail Pelit without using any “a” sound and La Disparation written by Perec without using any “e” sound in it will be examined comparatively in terms of the contribution of the lipogram technique to the meaning of the text.
