In contemporary art, the collaboration of different disciplines has enabled the development and expansion of new approaches. From an interdisciplinary point of view, the effort of today's understanding of art to transcend boundaries is also revealed in the ceramics area. A new perspective on plastic and visual arts is planned to put forward approaches to combine the fundamental principles of ceramic art and animation. The transformation process of animation in the field of visual arts on ceramic materials can be realized with different techniques and applications. The main structure of this study is the explanation of the interpreting data from the literature review with the application of the ceramic form and surface to the animation. The fact remains that the relationship between rotational action and animation technique is related to the potter’s wheel, one of the ceramic forming methods, and the dimensions of the coexistence of two different disciplines that allow for experimental approach are considered. The practices that emerged with this approach have been examined in terms of style and form, the techniques and methods used from traditional to contemporary forms in the historical process are highlighted in this study.
