1545252953 A SOCIAL ORGANISM IN ART: OBJECT

Proof of time and evidence of the past has been a new area of experience fort he artist. The fact that the objects have cultural, identity and social traces strengthened the idea that it could be a memory of it. This thought mobilized the action that required artists to focus more on things. From the moment the artist was in search of the existing and its semantic meanings, the artist worked on it as a social element. This language, which accepts things as a treasure of memory, has emerged when Postmodernism directs art to subjects outside its own framework. This change, which caused breakage in art, has also triggered the artist taking the objects into its center. However, the contribution of the artists who followed Marcel Duchamp And Joseph Beuys to the process has supported and accelerated this formation. The aim of this study is to examine some of today’s works that put the object in the place of memory representation. In the works of art discussed, it was seen that the objects were expressed as a mirror of culture, identity and society. It was found that artists used a common language to preserve their own culture and identity. It is understood that the article is an image anchoring individuals like an anchor to their past, culture and values. Art is on the side trying to ensure this awareness. As an archaeologist, the artist has adopted an attitude towards excavation and removed the dust on the object. This clarified picture provided people with important strategic perspectives in which they could reconsider their existence.
