Contemporary and modern metropolitan cities, composed of individuals as inhabitants, fulfill their needs by innovative solutions and influence them by serving a new aesthetic approach. The increase of cultural interaction via the merge of diverse segments of the society in those urban cities bring about the speed in life, faster data sharing and arising faster consumption, all of which eventually lead into standardization.The study aims to explain the city in an holistic manner with regards to the features presented to its habitants in an aesthetic context while aiming to discuss the relationship between modern life and cultural elements. For this study, contemporary materials have been used for fabric design with the applications of traditional motifs on them. Clothing as a consumption area, where global standardization can be observed, has recently been cleared off its regionally and locally cultural elements in great amounts. Culturally specific motifs, patterns, materials and similar elements have being moderated into fashion clothes by designers in a method of diversification. This research particularly presents the most popular examples of such applications. Traditional clothing is also one of these cultural elements and needs to be kept alive needs to be kept alive.
