It is known that studies on space, which is an essential condition of existence, have been carried out until very early times. The analysis of the codes generated by the space is realized in the semiology which is one of the important disciplines of today. The aim of this research is to examine what is the space semiology and how a sculpture is analyzed in the context of space semiology. The understanding and examining of space have based on material. Therefore, the analyzes to be carried out in the space semiology have been made with sculpture which is one of the basic disciplines of art in this study. First of all, what is space and relationship between space and sculpture have been examined and then, Anish Kapoor's "Cloud Gate" sculpture have been analyzed in the context of space semiology.
