In the study, the place and importance of onyx stone industry in Kırsehir, the current situation and the research of the products that are done have been aimed. Being obtained onyx stone, the tools and materials that are used in the industry of onyx stone, technique, construction periods, the ranges of products, the technique and colour features that are used in manufacturing of the products have been studied. In the concept of the study has been included the people that labour in the industry of onyx stone and onyx stone dressing and exhibition workplaces. The knowledge about the study has been gathered from the written sources through scanning method, the people the labour in this industry, master the subject and know the history of the industry. The scope of this study consists of the onxy stone producers in Kırşehir and the certain onyx stone products. The research sample involves 100 onyx stone products and 25 people who labour in the industry of onyx stone. 100 onyx stone products were taken photos and filled in with regard to the prepared information form. The analaysis of the date that were acquired has been done. The products have been analyzed in terms of range, colour, technique, composition and place of use. According to the findings being acquired, it is stated that onyx stone products are sent to several cities in Turkey. It generates important but limited source of income for the region. Today, the trinkets, souvenirs, accessories, household goods, hooby products are made of onyx stone.
