Every geography has its own different characteristics in the field of music, as in every other field. Sound color, is in the preliminary position on the basis of music. It not only varies according to the social, political, cultural, historical background of the people but also the sound color of the whole geography that is unique to that region depends on their geographical location, continuous lifestyle in an order , the musical chracteristics they have and the instruments they use to perform music. Among the prominent music tones; The music tones that are connected to the Russian and Russian Music School, which extends to a large part of North Asia and Eastern Europe, the German and German Music School in Central Europe, and the France and French School in Western Europe, have contributed to the development and of music from the past to the present. They have created the most prominent musical tones that contribute to their innovation. Today, it is highly curcial to expand musical tones in order to contribute to music performance, composition studies in the field of music, and music history. located in Northern Europe. Scandinavian countries have a musical tone about musical materials that are perceived as unique. Kalevi Aho, one of Finland's leading contemporary composers, used the Scandinavian tone in some of his works. Scandinavian Tone, It has been a musical tone which has been developed and still continues to develop since 14th century. Therefore, this study aims not only to include Scandinavian tone and names some of the composers who used Scandinavain tone in their works but also the path that the Scandinavian tone followed from past to present . In addition to this, the influence of Scandinavian tone on a contemporary composer is also emphasized by considering sample works of the composers.
