In this study, the term of busking, which is outside the traditional music history writing, will be examined in the historical context. Under which social conditions street music practice has emerged throughout the history and what the social background of the relationship between today's street music and culture industry is will be evaluated within the context of the relationship between music and society. Through the qualitative examinations made in the light of these evaluations, the place of street music in the social context will be explained from a historical perspective. In this study, the concept of busking and its place in the culture industry will be explained with a critical approach, so the neglected aspects of this phenomenon, will be evaluated from a new perspective.
