Avant-garde trends pertaining to contemporary art transform daily life into a game, and the town itself into a playground with high attractive power. While seeping inside life within confines of such playground becomes a driving factor triggering creative motivation, perpetuity, transformation and such other associations belonging to the town appear as a powerful starting point for the artist. The urban space captured by the artist with intents like infiltrating the streets of the town, producing work outside the workshop, getting involved with life, staying close to social matters, being antagonistic, challenging, displaying the goings-on, weaves a new web of interrelations and serves as a source to new patterns of disclosure. This text traces the new patterns of association with the urban space, and focuses on the ”town” as a source that nourishes art. Targets to exhibit the relationship of the works of art created on this platform with the source they are nurtured by. Dealing with this source, the “correlation between town and art”, also means highlighting an utterly dynamic process that one could retrace back to early 19th Century. It is set forth by the findings attained that the relationship between town and art is maintaining its currency via a determinative role in field of artistic production.
