The aim of this study is to develop a scale for middle and high school students to reveal their attitudes towards. Literature review has been conducted in the research and experimentation scale has been prepared first by taking expert opinions. In the experiment scale there have been 33 articles which compose 3 negative and 30 positive statements. 214 girls and 186 boys (in total 400) who are between the age of 11 and 18at Gülen Muharrem Pakoğlu Middle School and Bahçelievler Deneme Anatolium High School located in Çankaya province in Ankara compose the sample of the study. As a result of the Attitude Scale’s explanatory factor analysis against art which has been developed as part of the study, 4 factors explaining %52.410 of the total variance have been obtained and 12 articles have been removed from the scale. A four-factor structure has been tested by confirmatory factor analysis and the tested model has been seen to have good compliance index. In order to determine the reliability of the scale, Cronbach's Alpha internal coefficient of consistence has been examined and item analysis has been conducted. Measuring tool’s Cronbach Alpha coefficiency has been found to be 0.894. These findings show that Attitude Scale against art with its 21 articles is a valid and reliable measuring tool which could be used for students in education institutions.
