1454595627 THE ATTITUDE ADOPTED BY THE ARTIST IN 21ST CENTURY AGAINST THE OPINION OF BEING PERMANENT

When historical processes are taken into consideration; development of science, innovations in technology and change/transformation of economic system structures accordingly have made the mentalities of individuals become different as well as of the societies. This period represents a term where the subjectie and conceptual extents of boundaries between artist/viewer were questioned over and over again. Capitalism and industrialization, which are one of the stubborn facts of the global world, have become to likely put distance between the ordinary, even traditional boundaries between the art, artist and viewer. Such distance has also led to a change in expected characteristics of the art object.
Being permanent forms one of the most important features of an artwork within the sense of art. However after 1950, art movements do not consider permenance with respect of content and form. With ambigiousness of material/production within a dynamic sense of art even gaining acceleration from its normlessness, the permanance concept transforms/changes into other meanings with new meaning formations that it gains day by day.
