This research is a descriptive study that investigates the usage situations of the songs that are used in individual vocal education of students. This study is conducted in order to detect the usage circumstances of songs that are used in the individual vocal education of students. The population of this study is the freshman and sophomore students at Gazi University Department of Music Education. The population is taken as a sample. In order to detect the usage circumstances of songs that students use, the final exam schedules between years 2009-2012 are analyzed. As a result of this study, the most used songs in courses according to the class level are detected, and the findings formed a sample that is suitable for vocal instructors and students.
