It’s a well-known fact that the artists’ emotions are of great importance in terms of the artwork creation in the process of artistic creativity. The purpose of this study is to find out impact of the artist’s love in parallel with emotions to the artistic creation process in the field of painting and reflections of those impacts in works of art. The sample of this research is the 20 volunteer master artists living in Ankara, İzmir and İstanbul who have been creating in the field of painting of Turkish Plastic Arts at least 30 years. Qualitative research methods were used in this study. Data were obtained through open-ended interview technique. Interviews were conducted with audio and video recorders and descriptive analysis technique was used for the analysis of the data. As a result of the study, data which will enrich the field of Turkish Visual Arts as theoretical were obtained and the effect of mood on the creative process was assessed by subjective perceptions of the artists.
