1406833944 GOD IN Y. YEVTUSHENKO’S POEM “MUM AND THE NEUTRON BOMB”

The article presents the author’s individual perception of the image of God in the poem by Y. Yevtushenko “Mum and the Neutron Bomb”. Two backgrounds were used for the analysis: (1) the total Soviet paradigm: God (inner spiritual world) and government (state ideology) and (2) some of the ideas from the book by V. Irzabekova “Secrets of Russian words. Notes of a Non-Russian Man”. The article reflects the phases of transformation of the image of God in the process of formation of Y. Yevtushenko as a poet and as a citizen. Relationship with God is seen on an example of poetic image in a specific historical period in the politicized country, and is analyzed from two aspects (1) creation time – the 20th century: reading time the 20th century and (2) creation time – the 20th century: reading time the 21st century.
